  • Oak generates intense heat while producing a small flame that rarely pops. That means you’ll spend less time tending the fire.
  • Oak contains high tannin levels, which naturally resist rot and insect damage, making it easy to store. Our stacks last even longer because we heat-treat and cover our firewood stacks.
  • Oak has a similar scent to hickory when it burns, but it’s much subtler and so the scent won’t linger for as long as hickory when burned indoors.
